Located in downtown Fremont--so be prepared for street parking or paying for parking in the lot! Highly recommend making a reservation, as this place is always busy. We came here for a girls night and the place was pretty packed. I ordered the Blooming Basil--gin with lime and Thai basil; super refreshing and a sweet basil infused taste. I was so pleasantly surprised how good it was!! We ordered the Thai style chicken wings, awesome flat noodles with chicken, garlic chicken fried rice with added egg, and pad see ew with beef. Honestly all the dishes were so good and tasty! My favorite were the chicken wings and awesome noodles. The wings were fried perfectly with a very unique taste with a a really good dipping sauce; not sure how to describe it but it was so good! The awesome noodles had a lot of bean sprouts and it was just such a good noodle dish. The garlic fried rice was a solid fried rice and very flavorful! The pad see ew I was a bit disappointed with because it's not as charred as I like and didn't have as much egg in it so I wasn't a huge fan of theirs, which was a bummer because my go to dish is usually a pad see ew at Thai restaurants. We ordered spice level 3 for all and none of the dishes were spicy at all, so next time I might try level 4 or 5 :) Overall I liked the ambiance and the cocktails and food were all delicious. Service was great and staff were super cautious and quick to check up! Ty e food came so fast too.

Le Thai restaurant is an amazing little Thai restaurant in the downtown Las Vegas area on Fremont street but a little bit away from the busy action of Fremont street! My husband and I visited Le Thai restaurant during their happy hour around 4pm on a weekday. I have heard from other reviews, sometimes there is a really long wait with the restaurant being really busy but we had no issues and were seated right away! The ambience inside is small but really beautiful with a bar area with a tiny outdoor patio, hanging lush green plants from the ceiling, and an elegant wall mural with Thai elephants. I was impressed while looking at their happy hour menu which is Mondays through Thursdays 4-6pm. Le Thai has an unbeatable happy hour menu with really affordable deals for the Vegas area on some of their most popular appetizers such as the Waterfall Beef or honey garlic wings, cheap Asian beer, wine, and cheap cocktails! I ended up trying their deliciously spiked Thai iced coffee (Thai-rish iced coffee). You could definitely taste the alcohol in it which was good thing! For appetizers we ordered the Waterfall Beef which is sliced beef stir-fried in garlic soy sauce with sticky rice and waterfall dipping sauce which reminded me of a Thai chili dipping sauce. The Waterfall Beef was tender, incredibly delicious full of flavor with the garlic/soy sauce while the waterfall sauce really took it up a notch! I highly recommend trying this appetizer as I also saw people ordering this apperizer as their main dish! We also ordered the crab rangoons which are deep fried wontons stuffed with crab flakes and cream cheese, served with sweet plum sauce. The crab rangoons were gone really fast as they were hot, fresh, and tasty! Although we didn't get a chance to try a-lot of their menu items, they have a great selection of popular Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Papaya Salad (Sum Tum), Larb, noodles, and curry! I am hoping to come back soon to try more dishes! My husband ordered the Short Rib Fried Rice with short rib beef, stir fried with waterfall sauce, egg, garlic, yellow, and green onion. I ordered the crab fried rice Crab Fried with real crab meat with yellow and green onion, egg, ginger, and topped with cilantro. My husband absolutely loved the Short Rib Fried Rice as it had incredible flavor with the short rib beef perfectly seasoned with a charred flavor with the waterfall sauce of garlic/ soy also giving it so much flavor! The Short Rib Fried Rice is a must try item on the menu! I was slightly disappointed in my crab fried rice as there was very little crab or seafood in my fried rice dish. I am aware crab and seafood can be very costly but I would rather pay more to enjoy more crab in my fried rice as I was expecting bigger pieces or lumps of crab. There were only tiny razor thin shreds of crab in the fried rice that I could barely see or taste the crab. For dessert definitely try Mango & Sweet Sticky Rice (popular dessert in Thailand) which is mango served with sticky rice in sweet coconut milk and sesame seeds on top! We tried this dessert and it was so sweet and comforting! Overall, I highly recommend Le Thai restaurant as a Downtown Vegas little gem because their Thai food is delicious, affordably priced, service is great, and they have great cheap happy hour specials!

One of my favorite Thai spots! I used to go to the one on Charleston a lot! Just so happened to be in the area and friends wanted some Thai food. I rarely go downtown. When I saw Le Thai was an option, I was game. What really got me going as a repeat, would be the three color curry! So I already knew what I was getting. The three color curry! What can I say, it hit the spot! The creaminess of it, good amount of vegetable and chicken. I ended up added the chili flakes cause I wanted mine a little more spicier than I ordered. Didn't want to order too spicy where I couldn't handle it or enjoy it. Finished it all! Best is when you soak the rice in this goodness. Just enough to where the rice still holds and doesn't become mush. Got mango sticky rice at the end and when we ordered that, another good friend walked in with his girl. Ended up getting him a spiked Thai ice tea and got one for myself. Definitely recommended! Still have the Thai tea taste with a little kick to it. Service was great! Everyone was on top of making sure we had our orders or made sure our waters were filled. This place definitely should be a little bigger cause it's so good! Wasn't noisy at all. Was able to talk to my friends. This would be my go to in this area for Thai food!

I kind of don't want to write the review because I don't want to have to wait when I go back! LOL Seriously, this is hands down the BEST Thai food I have ever had in my life! And I have had a lot of great Thai food! Hostess, waitress-both amazing! Food is beyond description! Also priced reasonably and you will leave full, probably with leftovers! I have zero complaints or suggestions for improvements! Can not wait to go back and eat more things on the menu, I wanted it ALL! Thank you Le Thai, we are fans for life!

I loved the ambience! The plants hanging all around gave a very refreshing vibe. The food was good too! Everything we ordered exceeded our expectation. I like how they gave us all the condiments to adjust our spice level if needed. Tha mango sticky rice was one of the best I've had! Not too sweet , and served with perfectly ripe mangoes.

Thankfully we beat the lunch rush on a Saturday. Been wanting to try this place out for a long time and it did not disappoint. We were able to get a table as soon as we were greeted. Cute place, we walked past the kitchen counter, right across from it is the bar sitting area. Place is lively, for a smaller area, it has lots of natural lighting. We ordered: Thai style honey garlic wings- Crispy. Was hoping for more of the fish sauce/umami flavor and some heat. Pork belly bacon - twice cooked made the pork belly so soft and tender, then fried nice and crispy. Tamarind sauce complimented this dish so well. Spicy eggplant with ground pork- loved this dish, fresh bell peppers added crunch to the dish of sautéed eggplant. Pad see ewe - very sweet dish since it's made with sweet soy sauce. Definitely will be back to try other dishes!

Gem of a place!! My cousin introduced me to this delicious restaurant- thank goodness! We started off with rangoons that were sheer perfection- nice crunchy exterior with a light creamy warm center and a tasty plum sauce. I think I could have eaten 10 more!! For my main, I tried the special, Crab Curry- yes please!! 4 oz of fresh crab meat in a panang curry with bamboo, carrots, and bell pepper. Lots of veggies and an excellent smooth, slight spice curry. Service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Go see April! Nice laid back atmosphere.

Hands down. The best thai food I have had in my life It is to the point that I am mad that it took me this long to come here and I regret every time I passed on going. Service is prompt and fast and the ambiance is young and vibrant. Feels like a trendy restaurant in a hole in the wall. The short rib fried rice is better than David Chang's with 10% of the price of Majordomo. Perfect amount of heat. I never thought I could be impressed with the execution of a crab rangoon but that dish with the spicy plum sauce is craveworthy. The sauce for the fresh spring roll is perfect and a unique take I can't describe. You could tell from the color of the sauce that it has some extra flavors other than peanut sauce. My only criticism is that it needed more meat. This is a place that won't break the bank and will give you a flavor that rivals the top asian chefs of the city.

Looking for Thai while downtown, checked Yelp and found excellent reviews @Le Thai. We arrived on a Sunday (Easter) around 6:30 and this tiny spot was packed! We put or names on the list and walked a few doors down to enjoy a beverage while waiting. Le Thai offers a full bar with seating, open kitchen (love) and excellent service. From the bar we enjoyed a couple of Lucky Buddha's and a nice crisp SAUVIGNON BLANC- where's Linus. We ordered: 1. Crispy Spring rolls- super crisp, super yum! 2. Crispy shrimp- (shrimp wrapped and fried In an egg roll wrapper) very interesting and yummy. Although, the sauce for this dish....absolutely delish with a little baby kick. 3. Thai Style Beef Salad- I love Thai Salad and I'll rate the beef on this salad as the most flavorful/tender in town. 4. Short Rib fried rice (topped with two fried eggs). Hubs ranked this as best in town.....period! 5. Shrimp Pad Thai- Nice blend of flavors including a nice amount of shrimp. Spice level 1-5. I feel they're a little light with the spice but you can always add more. :) We will definitely return for more delicious tastings! *Happy hour Menu: M-Thurs 4-6
